Manchester City reject Barcelona’s first offer for Rodri
Manchester City have rejected Barcelona’s initial offer for Spanish international Rodri Hernandez during the current summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, Manchester City deemed Barcelona’s offer too low and not meeting the club’s valuation for the Spanish midfielder.
The same source added that the English club does not consider the current offer sufficient to begin serious negotiations regarding the deal, while Barcelona are working on a new offer in the hope of securing Manchester City’s approval for the player’s transfer.
Previous reports indicated that Barcelona submitted an initial offer of €45 million, plus €10 million in add-ons, but the proposal was rejected by the English club.
