The final value of Rodri’s transfer deal to Barcelona
ESPN has confirmed that Barcelona has reached a preliminary and definitive agreement with Manchester City for the transfer of Spanish midfielder Rodri to the Catalan club, following the English club’s acceptance of the third offer submitted over the weekend.
The total value of the final agreement is €76.5 million, including bonuses and financial variables. This prompted City’s management to give the green light and begin exchanging contracts and legal documents in preparation for the official signing.
The Spanish international is expected to arrive in Barcelona within the next few days, as the Blaugrana management races against time to complete the administrative protocols and medical examinations, in preparation for his official presentation to the fans at the Camp Nou stadium on the sidelines of the Joan Gamper Trophy match against Al Ahly of Egypt next Wednesday.
