Will Barcelona offer players to convince Atletico Madrid to release Julian Alvarez?
Spanish journalist Lucia Marquez has proposed a way to finalize Barcelona’s deal with Argentine striker Julián Álvarez, putting Atlético Madrid’s management under pressure in negotiations.
Marquez explained on her personal account that the ideal solution to break the deadlock in negotiations lies in offering Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo and forward Ferran Torres, in addition to a cash sum. She emphasized that this option eliminates any excuses Atlético Madrid might use to reject the offer.
The journalist added that if Atlético Madrid rejects this exchange, Barcelona should quietly withdraw and leave the Madrid club to face the consequences of its decision. Atlético would then find itself forced to deal with a complex budget dilemma to balance its finances while keeping a rebellious and frustrated star who has publicly expressed his desire to leave and is not performing at the expected level.
