Paris Saint-Germain announce the signing of Ferran Torres

Paris Saint-Germain announced on Saturday the signing of Spanish international forward Ferran Torres on a contract until 2031. The player, who captained Spain to victory in the 2026 World Cup, will wear the number 9 jersey for the Parisian club.
Torres, 26, expressed his delight at joining the Champions League winners, saying: “I am very happy to begin a new adventure at such an ambitious club as Paris Saint-Germain. I would like to thank President Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Luis Campos, and coach Luis Enrique for giving me the opportunity to join this team. I hope to contribute to winning as many titles as possible.”
The transfer fee for Torres is €45 million.
Ferran played 10,552 minutes for Barcelona, scoring 65 goals and providing 23 assists. He helped the club win seven titles: three La Liga titles, three Spanish Super Cups, and one Copa del Rey.
