Negotiations between Real Madrid and Brazilian star Vinicius Junior regarding his contract renewal are ongoing, amidst an atmosphere of optimism within the player’s camp, despite a lack of a final agreement due to some outstanding financial details.

In an attempt to resolve the matter, Real Madrid has presented an improved financial offer, according to The Athletic, indicating the club’s desire to retain the player. Vinicius had previously informed club officials that he wants an annual salary of €30 million, including net salary, bonuses, and a contract renewal bonus – a condition Real Madrid had previously rejected.

During a meeting held today, Wednesday, with Vinicius’s representatives, Real Madrid requested a prompt response to the new offer, either accepting or rejecting it, to determine the club’s next steps.
