Konate signs four-year deal with Real Madrid

Real Madrid have officially announced the signing of French international defender Ibrahima Konaté until June 2030.
In a statement released by the club, they said: “Real Madrid and Ibrahima Konaté have reached an agreement for the transfer of the French player to the club on a contract that will run until June 30, 2030.”
The 27-year-old, whose contract with Liverpool expired this month after five years with the club, will be the fourth signing since Florentino Pérez’s re-election as president until 2030. He joins Portuguese coach José Mourinho, who returns to manage the club, as well as Spanish defender Marc Cucurella and Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva.
At the Santiago Bernabéu, Konaté joins fellow Frenchmen Kylian Mbappé, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Eduardo Caminga, and Ferland Mendy.
