Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Ferran Torres and his agents are in talks with clubs other than Paris Saint-Germain, and are also negotiating a contract extension with Barcelona. For PSG, Ferran’s name is on a long list of options for Luis Enrique to strengthen his attack, but it’s not the only choice.

Romano revealed that Ferran Torres is close to reaching an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to join them this summer.

The journalist confirmed that Ferran Torres has given his agents the green light to look for another destination during the current transfer window. This comes after Barcelona secured two new attacking signings this summer (Antony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi), in addition to the ongoing pursuit of Julian Alvarez. All these signings will directly impact his playing time next season, leading the Spanish international to seek a club where he can be guaranteed a starting position.

According to the journalist, Torres’ agents are not only in talks with Paris Saint-Germain but are also negotiating a contract extension with Barcelona to secure the player’s future should a suitable offer not be found in the current market. On the other hand, Paris Saint-Germain views Ferran Torres as one of several attacking names on their list to strengthen their squad this summer, but the Barcelona player is not the only name on their list, and any decision will be made after the World Cup.
