Mourinho plans to move Bellingham back to the playmaker role behind Mbappe at Real Madrid

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho is planning to move England international Jude Bellingham back to the advanced playmaker role behind striker Kylian Mbappe. The Portuguese coach aims to give the player complete freedom of movement to exploit space and attack from various angles.

Mourinho believes Bellingham possesses the qualities that make him ideally suited to this attacking role, which he previously occupied during his first season under Carlo Ancelotti and with the England national team.

Regarding the planned tactical change, the manager’s vision focuses on enabling Bellingham to rediscover his scoring touch and playmaking abilities, freeing him from defensive duties that might restrict his movement.

In this context, the player has proven effective in this position before, scoring seven goals and providing one assist for England when playing in advanced attacking roles during the World Cup finals.
