Harry Kane wins the “Golden Boot” for the second time in his career

Bayern Munich announced on Monday that Harry Kane has won the Golden Boot award for Europe’s top scorer in the 2025-2026 season.
This is Kane’s second time winning the award, having previously won it in 2024. He joins an exclusive list of players who have won the Golden Boot twice (Gerd Müller, Eusébio, Georgescu, Fernando Gómez, García Márquez, Thierry Henry, Diego Forlán, Luis Suárez, and Robert Lewandowski). Only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have achieved this feat more times.
The England captain scored 36 goals in the Bundesliga, the same number that earned him the award two years ago.
The trophy presentation ceremony will take place at the Bayern Munich Museum in the Allianz Arena on August 19.
